The FMWeb HTMLEditor is a easy to integrate HTML Editor for FileMaker 12. If you are hand editing html in FileMaker you can use the FMWeb HTMLEditor to use graphical TinyMCE editor instead!

Simply copy two fields and two scripts to your solution and you’ll have an html editor at your fingertips!

The FMWeb HTMLEditor works with hosted databases using FileMaker Pro 12 on Mac and Windows. It’s been tested on Mac OS 10.6 / 10.7.3 and Windows 7 with IE 9. We hope to add support for FileMaker Go. Databases must be hosted since the “FMP” url is only supported on hosted databases.

Questions and Answers

Q: I'm on GoDaddy and the saved html isn't saved in FileMaker.

A: On Go Daddy, we had to comment out the file deletion code in the callback.php file which deletes older saved html. For some reason they don't allow file deletions on their server. Edit callback.php and either comment out or delete the code in the 'delete any files from other days' paragraph of php code.

A: We haven't tested it on IIS. I wish we had more info for you, but please let us know what you find!
